How many sessions do I need?
Most clients will see 70%-90% of hair clearance after 8-10 consecutive
treatments, however, results may vary for each individual and additional treatments may be required. Treatments are most effective when spaced 6 weeks apart.
What does it feel like?
Contrary to other lasers of the past which were very difficult to tolerate, our laser systems are PAIN FREE. A water soluble gel will be applied to the skin to aid the laser’s ability to glide smoothly. The laser wand/applicator is placed in contact with the skin and using SHR method, the laser light is passed as it is moved across the skin for superior hair removal.
I already wax/sugar; why laser?
Using painful waxing and sugaring methods only removes unwanted hair temporarily. Hair always regrows, sometimes thinner, resulting in ingrown hairs, bumps, irritation and redness. It is a method that must be repeated over and over again. It is not permanent. The laser also eliminates stubborn ingrown hairs.
Soprano ICE Platinum® Laser
This family of lasers uses pulses of infrared diode, yag and alex laser energy to gradually heat the hair follicles in the subdermal layer of skin until eventually, the hair can no longer grow back. The Cool tip wand ensures the surface of your skin remains cool throughout your treatment. This is Niagara’s only studio to offer the power of three wavelengths consecutively for your treatment and of course, nurse techs.
How do I prepare myself for treatment?
Shave and remove any make up or lotions on the areas that will be treated before you come in for your treatment. No waxing, tweezing or sugaring for minimum of 4 weeks before first treatment.
Who is a candidate for laser hair removal?
Improvements in laser technology now allow for safe and effective treatments on ALL skin types. Safe and effective for all ages. You will wonder why you hadn’t done this sooner! Grey and white hair cannot be treated. Blonde & red hair CAN NOW be effectively treated.
